Dear Members:

We are sorry to announce the death of Brother Brian Siddens, book #1150952 on June 28, 2006 at his home. He is the son of Brother Leonard (Sonny) Siddens. There will be a $25.00 death benefit assessment due and payable within 30 days from the date of this letter. Only International pension members are exempt from paying the death benefit assessment.

The elections of Local Officers were held on June 26th. The officers are as follows: President - Shane Austin; Vice- President - Lyndell Gillette; Business Manager-Financial Secretary - Michael Whalen; Recording Secretary - Richard M. Morenz; Sergeant at Arms - Hank Harker; Trustees - Joshua Drendel, Scott Miller, Scott Mallory; Executive Board - Timmy VanBrooker, Randall Siddens, Joseph Fickas III, Terry Munsterman, Kevin Vogel; Examining Committee - Scott Miller, Randall Siddens, Brian Baskett; Delegates to Dictrict Council - Michael Whalen, Randall Siddens, Shane Austin; Delegates to National Convention - Michael Whalen, George Stecz, Randall Siddens. The Officers will take over at the July 28, 2006 meeting. Congratulations to all the new officers and a BIG THANK YOU to all the old officers. The membership doesn’t realize the amount of time that it takes to be an officer. These people are the heart of the local. It takes every member to make a Local work. PLEASE TAKE AN ACTIVE PART IN OUR IRON WORKERS LOCAL. Attend the meetings and let your voice be heard.
